Crystal "Cryss" Cordero is an actress with a B.S. from Florida State University, who recognized the lip care industry was not evolving to meet the needs of current lip products.
A love for bold, matte red lips led to a never-ending battle with chapped skin. Mattes, stains, and over-lined lips all require a smooth, even platform for successful application. The current flaky fix? A toothbrush.
With a makeup bag full of trusted products, and armed with a travel-size toothbrush, she realized there was no tool properly designed to exfoliate lips. Toothbrushes are petroleum based and carry up to 10 million bacteria - this inspired the need to create an all-natural and hygienic solution.
With the help of her business partner, she was able to bring to life a product that is not only safe and sanitary, but is gentle enough to brush lips while delivering the highest grade of exfoliation.
Her hope with this modern-day beauty tool is to help change the lip care industry and put an end to this unhealthy practice.
